FAMILY VACATION
On vacation I went with my family to travel to the
beach exactly to Salinas, we had a great time.
My children enjoyed the waves and the desserts,
while my wife and I enjoyed their excellent cuisine
in addition to the various games and adventures
on the beach. It was an incredible trip to repeat it

I'm afraid you didn't take into account what I asked: Present perfect vs Simple past, and use of adverbs. Try to improve it!
